BE STRONG AND DON'T GIVE UP

"Never give in! Never give in! Never, never, never, never - in nothing great or small, large or petty. Never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense." -Winston Churchill

"Most people give up just when they're about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game one foot from a winning touchdown." -H. Ross Perot

My wife used to sing a song titled, don’t give up on the brink of a miracle. I would follow her song with a message titled, the brink of disaster. Both are uniquely the same. Both the brink of a miracle and the brink of disaster are the same place. It is our perspective that determines what takes place the moment after we come to this precise place.

Sometimes you have to RISK TO RECEIVE. You have to get out of the boat to walk on the water.

Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.Ps 147 : 5
“But as for you, BE STRONG AND DON'T GIVE UP, for your work will be rewarded."2 Chronicles 15: 7

PEACE

The Lord is good; he protects his people in times of trouble; he takes care of those who turn to him. Nahum 1:7 - The Good News Bible

On Christ...I Stand!

My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand; All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness seems to hide His face,I rest on His unchanging grace. In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,Support me in the whelming flood. When all around my soul gives way,He then is all my Hope and Stay.
When He shall come with trumpet sound,Oh may I then in Him be found.Dressed in His righteousness alone,Faultless to stand before the throne.

GIVE ME FIVE

LOVE?

Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others, Doesn't revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.

I Cor. 13:4-7 The Message
